Alicia Brown and I met over Instagram three years ago when I first moved to Green Bay. Her energy and enthusiasm for changing the culture of Green Bay for the better took me by surprise, and I knew instantly that we needed to have coffee.
We connected instantly and the creative sparks really began to flow. Since our first interaction a couple of years ago, I have had the pleasure of working with Alicia on her branding. More recently, Alicia has had the desire to get her messaging dialed in and really focus on her brand strategy for an upcoming workshop that she wanted to launch. So, for the past six months, we’ve been working on just that.
Alicia is a passionate, anti-diet, dietician who works with her clients to really embody lifestyle practices that take them from chaos to calm. She helps her clients implement mind, body, and soul changes that allow them to simply enjoy life and not focus on a fear of food.
In preparation for this workshop’s creation and the desire for the visual imagery to match, Alicia explained her vision. She didn’t want the images to have a “Hollywood” vibe or an “influencer” feel. So, I created imagery with her in her kitchen wearing cut-off shorts, barefoot, smelling the freshly baked bread as she was taking it out of the oven. There was spilled coffee creamer and accidentally burnt pizza. There wasn’t anything stylized, no makeup was worn, and it was just an authentic and natural glimpse of her.
It was very important to us to have these images be a true reflection of her work and who she is day in and day out. I really think we nailed it!
